AHMED BUTTI AHMED ALMUHAIRI
Ahmed Butti Ahmed AlMuhairi is the Chairman of ABA GROUP, one of the UAE’s leading conglomerates with diversified interests in Real Estate, Logistics, Finance, Hospitality, Construction, Aviation and Manpower Resources.
Graduating with a Master’s degree in Science from Denver University (USA), he was appointed as the Assistant Director General of Port Rashid Affairs. When the Dubai Ports Authority was created in 1991, upon the merger of Mina Rashid and Jabel Ali port, Ahmed Butti was appointed as the Assistant Managing Director, Corporate Affairs of the Ports & Free Zone.
During this period, he also served as the Managing Director of Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) overseeing its development into an unrivalled business park of over 5000 companies and the CEO for Istithmar, part of the Dubai World Group, focusing on private equity with a portfolio of investments in diverse sectors across North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East including retail, financial services, tourism, hospitality, and healthcare.
As the Director General for Dubai Customs, on the establishment of the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation (PCFC) i.e. merger of Dubai Customs, Dubai Ports and Free Zone Authorities, Ahmed Butti was appointed as its Executive Chairman.
Considered one of the most influential socio-economic figures in Dubai, he enjoys travel and experiencing the cultures of different regions, both at home and abroad.

FAISAL ALHAMER
Faisal is an entrepreneurial executive with over a decade’s experience in successfully managing business ventures on a local and global level. His exceptional leadership qualities and acumen for critical thinking, has ensured lucrative investments in various sectors, including Real Estate, Hospitality, Finance, Automotive, Technology and Human Resources.
Appointed initially as the Director of Investigations at Dubai Airports in 2007, he was handpicked to serve as the new Director of Passenger Inspections. Under his stewardship, key initiatives have been developed and implemented, ensuring the smooth flow of travellers and cargo — consolidating the Emirate’s status as the premiere global transit hub.
In addition to his current role at Dubai Airports, as the CEO of ABA Group, Faisal is responsible for overseeing the conceptualisation and implementation of practises that drive employment opportunities and entrepreneurial activities across the varied business interests of the Group. When he’s not in the board room, he can be found on the greens, enjoying a round of golf, or a friendly football match. His passion however, is his love affair with luxury automobiles, enjoying nothing more than repairing and test driving sports cars.
Prior to settling into civilian life, Faisal served in the UAE armed forces from 1996 to 2006. In 2000, sent on an Overseas Deployment Training to the USA, he successfully pursued and completed a bachelors degree in Aviation, qualifying him for the requisite certifications and ratings to become a helicopter pilot. On deputation to Europe from 2002, he was able to train and work as an aircraft engineer on the F-16 Fighting Falcon, supersonic fighter jets operated by USAF and its NATO partners.
